New signing Ben Hutchinson is looking to make the most of his loan stint at The County Ground and is ready to battle for a starting berth in the side.
The 21-year old checked into Town on Thursday morning and after completing his loan switch, is keen to get his Robins career up and running.
Hutchinson joined Celtic from Middlesbrough in the January 2006 transfer window and came off the bench for Celtic against Manchester United in the Champion's League last term. Whilst first team opportunities have been hard to come by, he is ready to make his mark here in Wiltshire.
"I spoke to the Manager a couple of days ago and he spoke about a loan move for me," he said.
"The first thing that came to my mind was how many games could I play and all I want to do here is get regular first team football.
"The Manager at Celtic, Tony Mowbray, told me what a great set-up Swindon down here. He came down here to watch quite a few games last season and said Swindon play good football.

"I know I will have to fight for my place, but the Gaffer at Celtic told me that if I can get into the side here then it will be worthwhile with the way that the team play.
He added: "I am hoping to prove to a lot of people what I can do and I am delighted to be here."
