Swindon Town Football Company Limited (the Club) announces that James Wills has resigned as a Director with immediate effect.

Mr Wills has been Director of the Club since 2002 and he and his family are shareholders in the Club.

Andrew Fitton, Swindon Town FC Chairman, commented:

"The Wills family has given a great deal to Swindon Town FC both in terms of time and money. James agreed to remain on the Board when Swindon Football Holdings Limited acquired the majority interest in the Club in January 2008 in order to help with the transition, but has now decided that it is time for him to move on.

"I would like to thank James and his family for the support that they have given the Club over many years, and for the support that they have given to the new owners since the beginning of last year."
