Swindon Town striker Billy Paynter was pleased to score his fourth of the campaign at The Banks's Stadium at the weekend, but credited his teammates with a solid second half display.
Paynter found the net from the penalty spot after seeing an earlier penalty hit the post and away to safety with The Robins a goal down.
The front man offered his views to the official website after training on Monday, reflecting on a busy 90 minutes at Walsall.
"It was an eventful afternoon wasn't it? I had a couple of chances but didn't let my head drop and when the second penalty came around I put it away.
"I don't think we got going in the first half. Walsall made a decent start and we went into the break fortunate to be only one goal down.
"When the first penalty was awarded I wanted to take it. I was fouled, so grabbed the ball and thought I was unfortunate not to score. I'm confident taking penalties but unfortunately it hit the post and came back across goal.
"The second one was then awarded and I was keen to take it. I put it in the back of the net and I was pleased to see it go in. At the end of the day with the chances we had in the second half we could have won the game."

Town boss Danny Wilson was pleased to see his side secure a point after what had been a slow start from The Robins. Paynter, who returned to the starting line-up in place of Ben Hutchinson, was encouraged by the resilience of the Swindon side.
"It's a good sign. We didn't lose our heads because we could have been out of sight at the break.
"It was one of those games where we turned it around and the point ensures the unbeaten run keeps going and we can now look forward to Wycombe this weekend."
