Danny Wilson wants his players to prove they are not a one-man team by turning in some good performances while Jonathan Douglas is suspended.

While the manager admits Douglas is a huge loss to the side he is confident that the club's other midfielders can fill the void left by the Irishman's absence.

"I don't think anyone can survive being a one-man team, and if you're perceived as that then you will start to believe it and then lose confidence very quickly," he said.

"We have to believe that we've got enough quality players in the club to take us through this little patch where Jonathan is not available to us."

Tope Obadeyi came in for Douglas in Saturday's defeat to Hartlepool, and the manager suggested that he would like the performances of whoever replaces Town's playmaker in the coming matches to give him a selection headache for when the suspension finishes.

He said: "People have to step up to the plate and if they do that then fantastic.

"What I'd really love is for someone to come in now and say 'right Jonathan Douglas, get back in this team if you can'."
