A double strike from Graham Kavanagh helped Carlisle United to a surprise 3-1 victory over Charlton Athletic whilst Exeter City were 3-0 winners at home to Brentford.

Leeds United marched on with a 4-0 home win over Yeovil Town whilst Leyton Orient were held to a 2-2 draw by Southampton, with Rickie Lambert firing in a late brace to seal a point.

James Henry, on loan from Reading, scored a last minute winner for Millwall in their 2-1 win over Colchester United whilst fellow promotion chasers Norwich City won 3-1 at Stockport County.

A double strike from Scott Davies was not enough to help home side Wycombe secure a share of the spoils with Walsall taking all three points in a 3-2 victory.
