 Winger Mark Marshall has returned from a two-month loan period at Hereford United. Marshall made 10 appearances for the Edgar Street club.

 Thursday was a busy day at the club, with Bolton Wanderers striker Danny Ward and Leeds United left-back Alan Sheehan joining on loan, and Anthony McNamee moving to Norwich City until January.

 13 members of Swindon Town players and staff enjoyed a flight in a Hercules aircraft on Wednesday morning. The likes of Danny Wilson, Phil Smith and Craig Easton flew over The County Ground in the famous military plane which took off from RAF Lyneham.

 Gordon Greer and Jonathan Douglas helped turn on the Christmas lights in Old Town on Thursday evening. Town legend Don Rogers was also part of the event.

 Cup tied striker Charlie Austin helped judge a Keepy Uppy contest on Friday afternoon at a JJB store in Greenbridge. The winner will receive a full match day hospitality package.

 Former Town players Moses Ashikodi and Ian Herring will be hoping to become giant killers again when their Kettering and Northwich Victoria sides take on Leeds United and Lincoln City respectively in the FA Cup Second Round this weekend.
