Swindon Town boss Danny Wilson has confirmed that striker Alex Revell's loan deal at The County Ground will not be extended.
Revell has now returned to Roots Hall after making 12 appearances for The Robins before Christmas.
The former Cambridge United frontman joined Town from The Shrimpers in late August, just days after appearing for Southend against Swindon.
He made his debut for Town in the home encounter with Colchester United and scored a brace in the 3-2 away victory at Brentford in early October.
Revell is now back in training with Steve Tilson's men - where he will line-up alongside Swindon Town defender Sean Morrison, currently on loan at Roots Hall.
