Alex Revell has had his contract at Southend United cancelled, and has signed for League One strugglers Wycombe Wanderers.

The 26-year-old striker who scored twice in ten appearances, has signed for Gary Waddock on a short-term contract until the end of the season.

The move comes as little surprise, especially considering Southend chairman Ron Martin's criticisms of the striker when he first arrived at The County Ground.
