Vincent Pericard is likely to be available for selection for Tuesday's crucial League One clash with table toppers Leeds United.
That's according to the striker himself who, having missed out on Tuesday's 1-0 win at Stockport County with a minor hamstring strain, returned to training on Friday with the rest of the first team squad.
Following a brief session with physio Dick Mackey last week, Pericard told STFC Player: "It's getting better. It was never a bad injury really it was just a bit of a tight hamstring.
"I felt very good after the running which is a very positive sign, and hopefully I should be fit for the Leeds game on Tuesday.
"The strength is there and I just need to get my confidence back to run and sprint on it so that's what we're working on at the moment."
