The 20-year-old hot shot's deal was due to expire in the summer, but Chairman Andrew Fitton and Manager Danny Wilson have activated a clause in contract which has seen the deal extended.

The new terms also stipulate that Town have the option to keep Austin at the club for at least another year following the expiration of the contract.

The former Poole Town hitman has bagged 10 goals in 11 starts for Town so far season, and, despite being linked with moves to The Championship in January, has pledged his long-term future to the club.
