Lloyd Macklin has joined League Two side Torquay United on a month's loan.
The 18-year-old right winger has struggled for first team opportunities since recovering from a leg fracture earlier in the season, and will be grateful of the opportunity to get some valuable game time with Paul Buckle's side.
Macklin will link up with former Town midfielder Wayne Carlisle at Plainmoor, and goes straight into The Gulls' squad for this evening's clash with Rotherham United.
Speaking to Swindontownfc.co.uk shortly after the move, Macklin said: "I'm pleased to have the opportunity to get some first team football.
"It's been hard for me to get back in the team here since my injury so I'm hoping to get down there and do well, then come back here after the month and start challenging for a place again."
