Swindon Town Football Club can confirm the players will be wearing black armbands for today's home game with Bristol Rovers as a mark of respect for Keith Alexander, who sadly passed away earlier this week.

"I was so shocked when I heard the news because I knew Keith very well," Town boss Danny Wilson.

"It was a real shock to everybody and a very sad day.

"He was very respected in football and was flying the flag for black managers.

"Keith was so young - you think there were so many years left in front of him, but unfortunately he has been taken away very quickly which I'm very sad about.

"It is a big loss and, more importantly, a big loss for his family."

Supporters are reminded kick-off this Saturday is 1pm at The County Ground.
