Swindon Town have agreed a deal to sign Liverpool full-back Stephen Darby on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old trained with the squad this morning and could be involved in this weekend's away clash against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Darby, who captained The Reds' 2006 and 2007 FA Youth Cup winning squads, made his Premiership debut against Tottenham Hotspur earlier this season at White Hart Lane and will provide crucial defensive cover for Danny Wilson.
