Town winger Alan O'Brien was back in action at The County Ground on Friday, although the Irish flyer is unlikely to make a return to the first team fold this term.
O'Brien was forced off during the home League One encounter with Yeovil Town in December with a hamstring injury and has been dogged by a persistent hamstring problem since then.
The Irishman has been receiving specialist advice in a bid to cure the problem and he received a boost this week by joining in some parts of first team training.
Club physiotherapist, Dick Mackey, offered the latest on the former Newcastle United midfielder's recovery.
"Alan joined in with some possession work on Friday morning at the stadium which emphasises his progress to full-time training.
"He has sought specialist guidance and is happy that he is on the right track to regain full fitness and fulfil his undoubted potential."
Another player who although sidelined, has making the most of the recent good weather, is midfielder Kurt Hammonds.

The 19-year old has been recovering from knee surgery and has been working hard under the gaze of the recent Wiltshire sunshine.
"Kurt has had a good ten days and is feeling more positive," said Mackey.
"Hopefully he will enjoy a fruitful summer of increasing workload ahead of a return to action next term."
