The event was attended by over 200 people including players, management, staff and supporters - all of whom had a chance to reflect on a season to remember.

Town Chairman Andrew Fitton took to the stage to offer his views on the campaign as well as looking ahead to the new season.

"From my point of view we had a fantastic season this year and in many ways exceeded our expectations," he said.

"At the start of the season I said to Danny (Wilson) we could achieve two of our three objectives then we, as a club, could be very pleased. The objectives were to reach the Third Round of the FA Cup, reach the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and reach the play-offs.

"Like everybody else, I was in reflective mood on Saturday. I want to go the extra mile and we are already looking at what we can do to improve next season."

The full address from the Chairman can be viewed shortly on STFC Player.

The auction, which included signed items from Celtic, Chelsea, Manchester City and England, raised additional funds before entertainment from local band 'Disclosure'.

This year's event was sponsored by the C&D Group. Club awards presented on the night:
