Apologies for the complete lack of live text commentary in the second half - this was due to circumstances beyond the control of Swindontownfc.co.uk.

It wasn't a great game in which to suffer the mother of all technical difficulties, but as the French say, C'est la vie.

Substitutes: Phil Smith (GK), Frank Nouble, Scott Cuthbert, Kevin Amankwaah, Michael Timlin, Craig Easton, Alan O'Brien

Referee: K P Stroud

Attendance: TBC

2.20pm - The teams are in. Two of last week's rested trio Simon Ferry and Charlie Austin return to the starting line-up in place of Craig Easton and Frank Nouble, while Scott Cuthbert remains on the bench as Lecsinel Jean-Francois starts at centre-back. Former Town defender Jack Smith starts for the hosts.

2.25pm - Town's players warm up in front of their own fans in weather accurately described by the stadium PA announcer as, 'inclement.'

2.33pm - Less than half an hour to kick-off now and the atmosphere is such that the 80's ska punk blaring out of The New Den sound sytem is barely audible. An exciting afternoon ahead? Certainly.

2.45pm - Town's first 11 return to the tunnel to the tune of 'When two tribes go to war.' The atmosphere builds as both sets of fans' stomach butterflies begin to flutter out of their mouths into the damp New Cross air. As rubbish a metaphor as that may be, it's a little nicer than 'two tribes going war.' Quarter of an hour to go......

2.55pm - The players enter the arena to a rousing reception from the capacity crowd inside The New Den. Keep calm if you can.......

3pm - The match kicks off with Town defending the end inhabited by their sizeable away following.

3.01pm - A mistake by Sheehan lets Lewis Grabban into the box, but the winger flashes his shot across the box and it trickles harmlessly wide.

3.02pm - GOAL! Danny Ward gives Town a dream start! Douglas' free-kick was cleared by Paul Robinson, but only as far as the Bolton loanee, who drilled a first time volley past David Forde into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

3.08pm - The first real chance for Millwall falls to Robinson, who nods a back post header narrowly wide after Scott Barron's free-kick had found its way to the Lions skipper.

3.12pm - PENALTY! Shaun Batt goes down under the challenge of Douglas, and referee Stroud points to the spot.....

3.13pm - GOAL! Steve Morison sends Lucas the wrong way to bag his 21st goal of the season and send the home fans into raptures. Back to square one!

3.19pm - Chris Hackett's back post corner finds Darren Ward, and his looping header is well saved by Lucas.

3.26pm - After a brief period of Millwall pressure, Town put together a lovely move involving Douglas, Austin and Ferry with the former releasing Danny Ward, but the goal scorer can't get the ball under control and it skips through to Forde.

3.34pm - Leeds United have been reduced to 10 men with Max Gradel being sent off. The plot thickens.....!

3.39pm - A good chance goes begging for the hosts as Barron's cross is met by Liam Trotter, who's looping header beats the stranded Lucas, but drifts well over the bar.

HALF TIME Millwall 1 Town 1

4.03pm - The second half kicks off.

4.08pm - The biggest cheer for a goal kick in history. Bristol Rovers have scored and lead Leeds United 1-0.

4.13pm - SUBSTITUTION: Neil Harris replaces Shaun Batt for the hosts.

4.21pm - GOAL! Heartbreak for Town as Millwall go in front. Steve Morison broke free on the right and drilled a cross into the six yard box which deflected off Gordon Greer and trickled over the line.

4.25pm - Leeds have scored twice in quick succession to make it 2-1 and dampen the spirits of the home fans.

4.25pm - SUBSTITUTION: Lewis Grabban is replaced by Marc Laird.

4.27pm - Paynter squanders a great chance to equalise as he volleys over form 8 yards out after Forde's parry had dropped into his path.

4.31pm - GOAL! Steve Morison's volley takes a deflection and loops over Lucas' head into the far corner, making it 3-1, but with the score at Elland Road still 2-1 to Leeds, this result could be academic.

4.34pm- SUBSTITUTION: Alan O'Brien and Kevin Amankwaah replace J-P McGovern and Stephen Darby respectively.

4.37pm - A great chance for Austin, as Sheehan's cross is diverted into his path by Paynter, but the ball slips under his boot on the edge of the six yard box and out of play for a goal kick.

4.42pm - GOAL! Town back in it as Billy Paynter diverts a Sheehan free-kick past Forde into the corner.

4.44pm - SUBSTITUTION: Nouble replaces Austin for Town.

4.50pm - It now seems that both sides are waiting for Bristol Rovers to equalise at Elland Road as the game drifts into injury time.
