This season's fixtures will be unveiled an hour earlier than the previous ten seasons.
The delivery of fixtures to customers will begin half-an-hour earlier than in previous years, at 7.30am, rather than at 8am. The fixtures are delivered under a strict embargo and the time for first publication of the Premier League, Football League, Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League fixtures has been moved to 9am - instead of 10am, as has been the case for the past ten years.
David Folker, General Manager of Football DataCo Ltd, confirmed the embargo time change, saying:
"Football has received many representations from news organisations seeking an earlier release time and an earlier embargo time to suit publishing deadlines and internet news services.
"So, after an extensive internal review, football has agreed to pull the start of the delivery of the fixtures forward to 7.30am and, consequently the time of the embargo from 10.00am to 9.00am.
"Football sees this as a positive move in an increasingly news-hungry world which we hope will be approved of by its many fans."
The fixtures will be released on Thursday 17th June. Click here for further details.
