Gordon Greer will miss the opening two games of the 2010/11 season, although will be available for selection at Hartlepool United on Saturday 14th August.
The 29-year old missed the League 1 play-off final after being handed a three-game suspension for violent conduct following his red card in the semi-final second leg against Charlton Athletic.
Greer, who made his 200th league appearance last term, was a regular at the heart of the Town defence and Captained the Robins throughout the campaign.
He will miss the opening npower League 1 home game of the season against Brighton & Hove Albion and the League Cup first round against Leyton Orient the following week.
Greer will be eligible for the long away trip to Victoria Park on Saturday 14th August to face Hartlepool United.
