Danny Wilson has confirmed that Jonathan Douglas will take over from Gordon Greer as club captain next season.

Douglas had been second in command to Greer, who joined Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday, and was widely expected to take over.

Wilson commented: "Jon is an ideal replacement, and I don't think it will come as much of a surprise to anybody that he's got it.

"I've not decided whether he'll have a vice captain or not, but I'm pleased that he's accepted it and we can move forward now."
