Scott Cuthbert has been confirmed as Town's vice-captain for Season 2010/2011.

The 23-year-old Scot will be second in command to Jonathan Douglas, who replaced Gordon Greer upon his move to Brighton & Hove Albion this summer.

After appointing Cuthbert, Town boss Danny Wilson said: "Scott has matured into an excellent centre-half, and I can see him being a future captain for us because he's a committed, honest player who leads by example.

"He's got a lot of respect in the dressing room, and I think a little more responsibility will help his game greatly."
