Swindon Town's Under 18's made the perfect start to their season with a 1-0 win over Cheltenham Town at The Liddington on Saturday morning.
A goal after just four minutes from striker Miles Storey was enough to clinch the points, from a match in which Paul Bodin's side may have scored more.
Second year scholars Seb Broomfield, Abdul Said and James Richards all impressed, while new captain Dan Evans settled into his role well.

The visitors rarely threatened on a muggy morning at Wanborough, and Town will take some valuable momentum into next week's away clash at Yeovil Town.
Speaking to STFC Player shortly after the match, manager Paul Bodin said: "We played some very good football in the first half in particular.
"Obviously with it being the opening day the lads can sometimes be a little nervous bit we didn't see any of that which was good - and the early goal obviously helped.

"And with Pete (Shirtliff) there watching as well it was a good time for the lads to do well, and he will have reported back positively to the manager which can only be good."
