Swindon Town boss Danny Wilson has confirmed the club will not request a postponement of the League 1 fixture at Carlisle United.
The Robins have received three international call-ups, which clashes with the forthcoming trip to Brunton Park on Saturday 4th September.
Billy Bodin (Wales U21), Paul Caddis (Scotland U21) and Thomas Dossevi (Togo) have all received call-ups.
However, despite the likely absence of key players, Wilson reaffirmed the club's desire to go ahead with the game.
"We don't think it's right to be calling the game off, although we did have the option there," Wilson told STFC Player.
"The journey to Carlisle on a Saturday is a difficult one anyway, especially for supporters. If we had called the game off then very few of our fans would have been able to attend what could have been a rearranged game on a Tuesday night.
"At the moment we have a clean bill of health squadwise and we have cover in the affected areas.
"We feel it is right to play the game and we don't want any sort of fixture pile-up."
