Alan Sheehan has re-joined Swindon Town after putting pen to paper on a one-year permanent contract on transfer deadline day.
The 23-year-old made 26 appearances for Danny Wilson's side last term having joined on loan from Leeds United; his last coming in the Play-Off Final defeat to Millwall.
His only Town goal came in the 2-2 away draw with Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park in April.

After returning to Elland Road at the end of last season, Sheehan continued to find it difficult to force himself into the first team reckoning under Simon Grayson, and despite some rumoured interest from Championship clubs, he has decided to return to SN1.
The Irish left-back, who can also play in midfield, will compete with Michael Rose and Callum Kennedy for a place in the starting line-up.
Look out for an interview with Sheehan tomorrow on STFC Player.
