Cardiff-born striker who joined Town in October 2004 in a £50,000 switch from local rivals Bristol City.
He is an aggressive runner and will add much needed pace to the Swindon frontline. Formerly with Exeter City where he scored 18 goals in 67 league starts for the Grecians from 2000 - 2002.
Rejuvanated following Dennis Wise's arrival at Swindon, Roberts was made Vice-Captain and finished the season under Paul Sturrock as top scorer with 13 goals - many of them coming from his new right midfield role.
Started the new 2007/08 season well, netting from the spot at Northampton Town on the opening day of the new campaign and has now established himself on the flank.
