Jean-Francois is a 22-year old Haiti international who has previously spent time on trial with Scottish club Aberdeen, playing in a pre-season fixture against Brechin in the summer of 2008.
He began his footballing career in France, playing for the reserve teams of Paris Saint Germain and Sedan.
He had a spell during 2006 on loan at SPL side Falkirk before playing for Ligue 2 club Guingamp and also featured for the Robins reserves against Swansea.
The defender made his Swindon debut off the bench in the League One clash at Millwall on Tuesday 17th January 2009. Further performances during the remainder of the campaign were enough to secure a new contract and he began the 2009/10 campaign at left-back.
