Simon Ferry joined Swindon Town on loan from Celtic in a deal which will keep the midfielder in Wiltshire until 26th January 2010.
The midfielder rose through the Celtic youth ranks and trained regularly with the first-team squad when Gordon Strachan arrived at the club in 2005.
He was part of the Scotland Under-19 side that reached the final of the 2006 European Championships and then made his first-team debut on a pre-season tour of Poland.
After injury he made the bench for many of Celtic's games in the 2008/09 run-in and scored the goal that clinched an eighth successive title for the reserves.

Ferry made his debut for Swindon in the 2-1 home win over Southend United on Saturday 29th August.
