Devizes-based midfielder who has progressed right through the Town Youth ranks to secure a first team contract.

Allen has now made six appearances at first team level and was handed his full debut against Brentford in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in September 2007.

A tireless worked with a great eye for a pass, Allen also takes charge at set-piece situations and will be looking to gain as much experience as possible from his first campaign as a professional at The County Ground.

Brought back into the starting line-up at Oldham Athletic at the end of February and after a hard working display, was rewarded with further appearances in the home games with Leeds United and Huddersfield Town.

Has a bright future ahead of him.
