Sean Morrison is a robust centreback who arrived in Wiltshire during the summer of 2007 from Plymouth Argyle.
After impressive displays for the youth and reserve sides, Morrison was handed a call up to the first team and made appearances against Gillingham and Millwall at the end of Season 2007/2008.
The defender benefited greatly from the advice passed on from former Town defensive coach Ady Williams before his departure, and went on to make 18 first team starts under Maurice Malpas and Danny Wilson in Season 2008/2009.
Morrison began Season 2009/2010 with great promise, lining up alongside Gordon Greer and scoring the winner in a 1-0 win over Southampton at The County Ground.
However, the form of Scott Cuthbert curtailed his first team opportunities, and despite a successful two-month loan spell at Southend United, he found his chances to make an impression limited.
Morrison signed a one-year contract extension alongside fellow youth team graduate Callum Kennedy in January 2010.
