Hard working midfielder who caught the eye during the youth team's impressive march to the FA Youth Cup Quarter-Final against Newcastle United.

A strong player with good ability, Hammonds is highly-rated at SN1 and will look to dominate in any opportunities handed to him this term after signing a one-year contract during the summer of 2009.

Currently recovering from knee surgery, Hammonds is making good progress and will hope to be fit with a view to getting back into competitive action before Christmas.
