F/T: AFCB 1 TOWN 3
Swindon Town's reserves have beaten AFC Bournemouth by three goals to one.
A double from Kaid Mohamed has put The Robins into a 3-0 lead at the break with Ben Joyce also on the scoresheet.
Joyce, who scored on his debut for the first team from the bench in Saturday's home win over Port Vale, was an unused substitute at Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night.
Nathan Thompson could have added to the scoreline late on in the first half with a mazy run from inside his half but was denied by the Cherries backline.
Patrick Kanyuka, who returned to competitive action, was substituted just after the half hour mark. The former QPR defender had only been destined to play the first thirty minutes as the Town medical staff look to manage his comeback from injury.
After the break Swindon continued to dominate and could have extended their lead, but three first half goals proved enough to seal the points.
The home side did get a goal back after Marvin Bartley had been fouled inside the box, with Phil Smith beaten from the spot.
