Town face Plymouth Argyle at Hungerford Town later, with the Pilgrims predicted to bring a side very similar to the one the Robins beat 3-0 in pre-season.

Patrick Kanyuka, Barry Corr and Craig Easton are likely to start for Swindon with Michael Pook also featuring.

Youngsters Chris Allen, Ben Joyce and Callum Kennedy all scored in Town' s last second string game against Southampton last week and will be wanting to impress against Plymouth tonight.

New signing Mark Marshall is expected to play as well, building on his first team appearance at Whaddon Road on Saturday.

First Team Coach Ady Williams said that it didn't matter what side Sturrock put out, Town would be ready.

"We have a strong side" said the ex-Swindon captain, " I'm looking forward to tonight, I hope the players are too."

"It's important that we get these players game time.

"The ones who aren't featuring in the first team have a chance to go out and impress.

"If they go out tonight, do a job and impress, then they could be in with a shout against Colchester United this weekend."
