Students from Churchfields School recently remade the classic Nike Advert Portugal V Brazil. The movie has cameo appearances by Rory Fallon, Stefani Miglioranzi, Sam Parkin and Shaun Hodgetts.

This short movie has grabbed a great deal of attention, the students appeared on the BBC Radio Swindon breakfast show and their movie was displayed on a big screen at Nike Outlet (below).

The Department for Education and skills heard about the movie and asked if it could be played at the Playing for Success National Conference after a speech from the Secretary of State for Education.

The original Nike advert was shown first then Martin Turnbull (pictured below) the Centre Manager at STFC described what the students had done and how he had received a great deal of help and assistance from Gary Richards, Study Centre Manager at Stockport County F.C.

The student's remake was shown and received a huge and spontaneous ovation from the 300+ delegates. Martin then presented Gary with a Swindon Town mug, a copy of the DVD and a Manchester United ball, which some foul-mouthed teenager and his workmates had scribbled over. Several delegates stated that the movie was inspirational and one of the highlights of the conference.
