The defender has taken part in the pre-season fitness training with the rest of the squad although is yet to take part in competitive action as he recovers from a wrist operation.

Town boss Maurice Malpas is keen for the player to remain close to the squad as preparations continue ahead of the new League One campaign.

"Hasney is the Captain and a senior figure in the squad. It is important that he comes with us because there will several meetings taking place whilst we are over there and I would like him to be a part of it.

"At the moment we are unsure whether he will be able to play out there, although we would like him to. He has been training with the rest of the squad so his fitness base should be good.

He added: "We will be taking 20 players plus eight members of staff.

"Austria is a fantastic place and everyone is looking forward to getting out there and getting the technical work under way."
