Swindon Town

DEFENDER Federico Bessone has joined the Town on a free transfer, signing a six-month contract from Swansea City.

The Argentine is expected to be available for selection at Deepdale on Sunday.

The full-back joined Swansea from Espanyol in 2008 and was in his second spell at The Liberty Stadium. After a brief spell with Leeds and Charlton, Bessone re-joined the Swans in the summer of 2011 and made just one Premier League appearance.
