Bostock - Glad To Be Back

30 August 2012

JOHN Bostock cannot wait to resume his Town career after returning to the Robins on loan.

The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder first moved to The County Ground in March 2012 and featured towards the end of Town’s title-winning campaign last term.

He has now put pen to paper on a loan move to return to Swindon and will link up with his teammates at training on Friday morning.

Speaking exclusively to STFC Player, the club’s official online TV service, Bostock offered his views after returning to familiar surroundings.

“I am really happy to be back here,” he said. “I found out earlier today that the move was on and it’s great to have got everything sorted.

“As soon as I heard the deal had been agreed I packed my bags and drove straight down here. The club has made a great start this season and there’s a buzz around the place.”

He added: “It’s been at the back of my mind for a while now but I did pre-season with Spurs and am ready to play. I can’t wait to get going and see all the lads again at training on Friday.”

STFC Player subscribers can watch the rest of the interview with Bostock right now, with the new loanee talking about his return to Wiltshire, his aims and where he is hoping to fit into Paolo Di Canio’s plans.
