Swindon Town

SWINDON Town have signed midfielder Giles Coke on loan from Sheffield Wednesday until January 2013.

The 26-year old has featured twice for the Owls this term, both in the Capital One Cup with games against Oldham Athletic and Fulham.

Coke has over 200 league appearances to his name, amassed during spells with the likes of Mansfield Town, Northampton Town and Motherwell.

He scored six goals in 33 appearances last term, featuring four times for his parent club before an extended loan stint at Bury.

The London-born midfielder is expected to be available for Sunday’s League One encounter at Preston North End.
