THE Supporters Club are offering the chance to join their 50/50 draw for all the final 10 games of the season starting from the Carlisle match on the 5th January 2013 (or the next home game if the Carlisle match is postponed) for a one off payment of £10.
Whilst the Supporters Club have always operated and will continue the season long payment scheme costing £24 together with the very successful match day sales, we are offering this additional way of being involved for the rest of the 2012/13 season.
Roger Bunce Chairman of the Supporters Club and Promoter of the draw commented: "We are delighted with support fans give us with this venture and this superb level of interest over this and previous season's has allowed us to pay prizes that are reaching new records. During the current season the main prize has been over £500 on many occasions, for an entry costing just £1.
"However, we would like to offer this additional way of participating and this may be of particular benefit to fans that cannot get to every game, or live away from Swindon and would like to help and assist in this area of our fundraising, which ultimately benefits the Supporters of Swindon Town."
The main benefits of joining this scheme and entering this way is that you are automatically entered to each draw for every match without needing to enter. You also retain the same number in the draw which you are advised of on receipt of your application. Additionally, Roger will contact you when you win, thus avoiding the need to claim.
Payment of the subscription can be made by any of the following ways.
1. Writing by post to the Supporters Club C/o The County Ground Swindon Wilts. SN1 2ED with a note detailing your name,address and contact telephone number together with your payment of £10.
2. Hand the note with details specified the above to either a 50/50 draw seller on a match day or to a committee member together with your payment.
3. By making direct electronic internet banking payment to sort code 309841(Lloyds TSB Swindon), STFC Supporters Club account number 0312666 and quote "your name and 50/50 draw" as the reference and send an e mail as soon as the payment is sent, to enquiries@swindontownsupportersclub.com . quoting your name and contact details
All payments in post and by hand must be received by 2.00 pm of the day the Carlisle match is scheduled to be played, or if making payment by electronic means and e mail combination, by 6.00 pm the previous day. Please note - applicants must be over age of 16.
The £10 subscription will cover all games from Carlisle onwards with any potential playoff match thrown in for free.
Dave Johnson from Swindon, a member of the annual scheme who has been lucky enough to win twice this season said:
"I have been an annual subscriber to the 50/50 draw for a number of seasons and I see my £24 subscription for the season as a really easy way of making sure I am involved and have a chance of winning at every game.
