TOWN goalscorer Raffaele De Vita took is already looking forward to the prospect of taking on League One leaders Tranmere Rovers on Friday night after scoring twice in a 2-0 away triumph at Oldham Athletic on Saturday.
De Vita scored his fifth and sixth goals of the campaign on his 19th appearance in a Town shirt and the Italian was pleased to have played his part in a dominant Swindon away effort.
“It was a massive win for us although I don’t think it’s the best we have played this season. Oldham is a tough place to come at any stage of the season,” he said afterwards.
“I am definitely taking the first one, that was mine, and I am happy to have been given the second goal too.”
The next task for De Vita and his teammates is to face league leaders Tranmere Rovers at The County Ground on Friday night and it’s an encounter that could give a real boost to Town’s promotion quest.
“Friday is another big one for us and we want to try and get another win. We are back at home again and we usually do well against the top sides and it’s a game we can look forward to.”
