TOWN boss Paolo Di Canio spoke to the waiting media after his side's 0-0 home draw with Sheffield United.
On the result…
To be honest the lads did very well. It was more than positive tonight and we have taken a point from the game. I am very happy but time has gone quick and now we must concentrate on moving forward and perhaps adding to the squad before the weekend with a new player, or maybe more.
On Louis Thompson…
We gave Louis the opportunity to play for 85 minutes and he was fantastic. That made me happy. He hasn’t played many games at this level but he has potential. He is a very intelligent guy and his family have brought him well – this is crucial – so we have a good base. Louis has to understand that in some positions he has to play simple but he can work under me now and improve a lot. He has to work very hard now and he must keep going.
On the embargo being lifted…
We still need to get players in and we have been working on it. I am more happy and can smile more than in the past. Maybe we will have one player in for the weekend.
On facing Walsall…
They lost 4-1 at home to Scunthorpe and we will now go through the DVD from our game tonight and see how we can improve ahead of the weekend. We can concentrate on the weekend because it is another opportunity for us.
