SWINDON Town manager Paolo Di Canio is hoping to add to his squad before Thursday’s loan deadline.
Di Canio handed full home debuts to Chris Martin and Danny Hollands in Tuesday night’s home defeat to Brentford, whilst Luke Rooney last week joined Rotherham United on loan.
Speaking to the media post-match on Tuesday evening, Di Canio outlined his views on the transfer chase.
He said: “We are not close at the moment in terms of adding to the squad, but we have time and I would like to bring someone in, in a specific area.
“I was disappointed with the performance of one player against Brentford. I thought after a few weeks he would understand what I want so to change this I would like to bring in one player before the deadline.”
