NEW loan signing Chris Martin is hoping to help fire Town to success after penning a deal with the Robins to stay at The County Ground until January 2013.
The frontman scored 23 goals during Norwich City’s 2009/10 promotion campaign, including the winner over Swindon at Carrow Road in October.
He is hoping to use his experience in League One to help Swindon to success as Paolo Di Canio’s men go into the busy festive fixture schedule.
Speaking to the club’s official online TV service, Martin told STFC Player: “I had a good time of it in League One and hopefully I can emulate some of that success here with Swindon.
“It’s been a quick turnaround for the move but I am happy to be here and looking forward to the challenge. It’s not a given that I am going to play here though.
“I need to show the manager what I am like in training and hopefully that will impress enough to involve me.”
Tickets for Town’s home game against Yeovil Town are now on sale from the STFC Box Office via 0871 876 1993.
