Kitted Out For The Cup

2 November 2012

Swindon Town have again teamed up with the Sunday People to become the club’s official FA Cup kit sponsor.

The national newspaper sponsored Town’s Cup kit last season, which included the memorable 2-1 victory over Premier League side Wigan Athletic.

The Sunday People are the official media partner of Samsung’s Win A Pro Contract competition, which will see Paolo Di Canio pick one amateur player to sign a professional contract with the club in January 2013.

Di Canio’s men will wear their FA Cup kit for the first time during tomorrow’s home clash with Macclesfield Town.

James Brown, Sports Editor at the Sunday People, said: “We’re thrilled to be the official FA Cup shirt sponsor of Swindon Town for a second consecutive season.

“The third round win over Wigan in January was one of the highlights of last season’s FA Cup. Hopefully the club will go even further in the competition this time around.

“Everyone at the Sunday People would like to wish Paolo and his players the best of luck for tomorrow’s match – and for the rest of the League One season.”

Tickets for tomorrow’s game are just £10 per Adult, £5 for Concessions and £1 for Juniors. Tickets available from the STFC Box Office or call 0871 876 1993.

Tomorrow’s matchday programme is available for just £1 which includes a special FA Cup poster, featuring Paul Benson celebrating against Wigan Athletic in January.
