TOWN play their second successive home game against Brentford on Tuesday looking to make it two wins from two.
THE VIEW
Manager Paolo Di Canio has urged his players to build on their win against Yeovil at the weekend.
“We have to stick together and keep the focus we have,” he said. “We had a good win at the weekend against Yeovil and that was a good moment. It showed the fans that we can maintain the magic combination between the players and the staff.
“The challenge now is to keep the standards we have set. We want to achieve things together and have a good season. We are in a good position in the league but we have done something special up until today.
“If we lost tonight we can go out of the play-offs. I hope we don’t see players not perform tonight, because we need everyone to be full of energy and concentration.”
THE STORY SO FAR
The Bees had to wait until the end of August to register their first three points when they demolished Crewe Alexandra 5-1 at Griffin Park. They have only won once away from West London, recording a 1-0 at Portsmouth. Uwe Rosler’s side have won three of their last four and last tasted defeat in mid October.
LAST TIME OUT
David Prutton rescued a point for Swindon in a 1-1 draw on the last occasion the Bees were in Wiltshire at the start of the 2010/11 campaign. Town’s last win over Brentford at SN1 was a 3-2 win in May 2010 while the last time the Bees recorded a victory at The County Ground was in 2006.
