GOALSCORER Darren Ward was happy to play his part in another Town victory as the Robins kept up their promotion charge.
The defender netted his first goal in Town colours since joining from Millwall and the centre-back admits he is eager for more success going into the busy fixture schedule.
Commenting on the opener, he said: “It’s a set free-kick that we had been working on and after the ‘keeper saved it I just had to poke it in. I am happy with it but more so to help the team.
“The lads have been working really hard and personally I have been working as hard as I ever have in my career, but I feel as fit as ever. The target is to make this place a fortress and we have everything we need to make that happen.
“Tuesday will be another tough one, but we will look forward to it.”
