SWINDON Town’s Under-18s drew 1-1 at Cheltenham Town in the cup on Saturday lunchtime.
Cheltenham took the lead on 36 minutes and took the lead into the half-time break.
The Robins then pressed hard for a leveler and got their reward on 51 minutes. A cross from the right from Luke Murden was met by Alex Ferguson who powered home a header.
“It wasn’t the result we deserved after a great performances,” said Paul Bodin, Under-18s boss.
“Both teams pressed hard for the winner and it was an entertaining encounter.
“It’s a cup competition and a point each for both sides will help the quest for qualification for the next stage of the league cup.”
