Miller - Everything Clicked

27 October 2012

TOWN midfielder Tommy Miller has called upon his teammates to concentrate on consistency after a 4-0 win at Stevenage on Saturday afternoon.

The former Sunderland middleman got a late call up in place of Troy Archibald-Henville  who was unable to start due to sickness after being handed a starting place.

Miller enjoyed the win which came ahead of Tuesday night’s Capital One Cup fourth round tie with Aston Villa at The County Ground. Speaking to the media post-match, Miller offered his views on an enthralling encounter.

He said: “Everything clicked today and I thought we were outstanding. We have ourselves a good lead and played very well.

“It is frustrating that we can’t do it every week but if we can get a run together then we can get up to the right place in the league. It is a really good result given where Stevenage are in the league too.

“The game was enjoyable to play in and we passed it around well. We started the game off well but we have to go and do that week in, week in now. Now we must keep it going.”
