Ritchie - Improve The Home Form

19 October 2012

MATT Ritchie says that Town need to translate their recent away form into good performances at The County Ground.

Speaking at Thursday’s press call, Ritchie told the media that Saturday’s match against Scunthorpe presents a perfect opportunity to get back on track at home.

“When we’ve been away from home we’ve dug in and ground out results,” he said “We went to Shrewsbury, got a good three points at Shrewsbury. Bury as well - another great three points. They weren’t very nice games but great three points to pick up away from home.

“Obviously our home form has dipped a little bit but we need to make it like it was here last year where teams dread coming here and are worrying about not getting rolled over so we need to make sure we can do that this year and put that right.

“Saturday is a great opportunity that we can start and be 100% on it from the whistle and I’m sure we can put them on the back foot.”
