YOUNGSTER Miles Storey netted on his senior debut for the Robins, playing his part in a 4-0 rout at Stevenage in League One.
The youth team graduate, who came off the bench at Crewe Alexandra in midweek, was pleased to be handed a starting role and the frontman made the most of the opportunity.
He said: “It has been a great day and I really enjoyed it out there. The lads were superb and we made a lot of chances again. There was some great football and it was a solid performance.
“I have been working hard in training but I know there is a lot more to come and things I need to work on. I was pleased with the goal and I had a lot of my family at the game too which was nice.”
He added: “The fans were awesome as well and we had another big following at the game. They were excellent and it was great to put on a show for them.”
