Wes - Sky Blues On The Up

13 October 2012

WES Foderingham believes that Coventry will not be down in the lower reaches of League One for long.

Speaking to the media this week, the Town goalkeeper said that the Sky Blues have the right players and pedigree to be challenging near the top of the division.

"It’s difficult when you get relegated for any club," he said. "It’s difficult financially, obviously morale in the changing room, the squad probably changes quite a lot as well, the management might change. I think for them they definitely won’t be down there by the end of the season once they start getting things right.

"They have still got a lot of quality in the squad, a few good young players as well and I think over the coming months you’ll see them pick up a few more points and probably get into the top half and maybe even the playoffs where they belong.

"They’re definitely a massive club and they’ve got everything to get back into the Championship and even the Premier League so I think if they can get things right off the pitch I’m sure it will start going right on the pitch."
