Bostock - We Know What To Do

14 September 2012

JOHN Bostock says that Town know what they need to do at Carlisle in order to put their last few performances behind them.

After consecutive defeats, the midfielder says that Town can put things right at Brunton Park.

He said: "We've been working really hard as a team and the gaffer's been making sure we’ve been doing a lot of specific training. We’ve worked really hard this week so hopefully we can put it right by winning on Saturday.

"We all know what we need to do but we need to execute it as a team together. We’ve got quite a few new players so hopefully the fans can start seeing us gel together now so it’s a massive game. Although we’ve lost three on the trot we know we want to be up at the top of the league so we need to get points on the board.

"I've played Carlisle but at home a few years ago so I've not been away to Carlisle. Obviously it’s a long trip but it's business for us. It will be a long journey back if we havn't won the game so we’ve got to make sure that we win."

Having joined Swindon on loan for a second time, Bostock declared that he was settling in Wiltshire and was fully focused on playing football.

"I feel like I know the place quite well now," he said. "My wife’s with me so it's nice but I'm here to play football so I'm going to get my head down, work really hard and train hard. I feel like I'll become a better player, learn a lot under the gaffer so hopefully I'll get my chance and hopefully get a start. Even if I don’t get a start, I'll come on and just do my job for the team.

"I'm settling in really well and it will be even better once we start climbing up the table."
